Emily Wood

Emily Wood was born and raised in Yuba City, California, and attended San Diego State University. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 2011, with a minor in Marketing and Advertising.

Emily now has two years of experience in the financial services industry. Her passion is to create a personalized client experience through detailed customer service. Emily works remotely for Nithman Financial Group and still resides in San Diego.

Prior to the financial industry, she worked in the animal welfare industry for six years. She served at both the San Diego Humane Society as well as multiple animal emergency clinics. Working in these environments helped her to become an excellent problem solver and to work compassionately in stressful situations.

In her free time, Emily enjoys gardening, crafting and spending time with her animals.
